Alison Longridge
BA, DipAc, MSc(Ac), PhD, MBAcC
| Alison Longridge graduated with a Diploma in
Acupuncture from the Northern College of Acupuncture, York in 1999, and in
2000 achieved a Master of Science in Acupuncture (MScAc) with distinction.
In 2006 she was awarded a PhD in Health Sciences as applied to
Acupuncture from the University of York.
Alison has
been at the York Clinic since her pre-registration year of practice in
1998. She uses very fine
needles and gentle needling techniques to restore health, and will often
enhance treatment effects with “smokeless” moxibustion, acupressure
massage and cupping. She has
found that many patients also benefit from adapting their diet and
lifestyle to better suit their constitution.
Alison has a special interest in the treatment of gynaecological
and obstetric conditions and fertility acupuncture - working with women
and men trying for a baby. |
