The effect of good acupuncture, however, is to do more than simply cure
symptoms: hence the frequent comment that “I’m feeling better in myself”
which refers to things such as:
I have a core belief that treating a person holistically, as a unique
individual reawakens the body’s ability to heal itself. I also believe that
acupuncture and western medicine have a natural synergy, and that acupuncture is
as relevant and effective today as it was in the time of the Yellow Emperor. Acupuncture is not a quick fix however.
You really are ‘what you eat’ and how you live. As part of your
treatment, we will discuss your diet and lifestyle to identify any negative
factors which may be influencing your health. Since
graduating, I actively continue specialist postgraduate training and have
attended
advanced workshops around male and female infertility, pain and treating
patients infected with HIV/Aids. My
personal interest lies in treating women’s issues ranging from problems with
fertility to supporting women through ART, pregnancy and preparation for
childbirth. I also have great
success in treating anxiety and depression. Please feel free to call me to discuss what acupuncture
can do for you today. |
