Dr Farquharson is a Chartered Psychologist & HCPC Registered Practitioner. Mary studied full time for three years at Cumbria Alexander Training School in Kendal. She is a fully qualified Member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (MSTAT) and her special interest is in Movement, Voice and Creativity.
Rachel studied studied at the Northern College of Acupuncture and is about to train in Remedial Massage at the Northern Institute of Massage. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Association (BAcC), the regulatory body of Acupuncturists in the UK.
Martina practises both The Bowen Technique and the EMMETT Technique and is registered with the Bowen Therapists Professional Association and the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council. The Bowen Technique is a gentle soft tissue therapy involving no adjustment or manipulation to gain results. During a treatment, a series of anatomically placed moves ensure the connective tissue, which surrounds all organs and muscles in the body, is relaxed and the muscles are working in the correct combination and length.’

David Leckie is a BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor with over 23 years experience of working with individuals, couples and families in both NHS and private settings. As well as being a counsellor, David is an accredited Family Mediator, able to offer both MIAMS meetings and Direct Consultations with Children should this be required.
Ali has 16 years experience as a registered acupuncturist, specialising in gynaecology, male and female fertility, pregnancy and post-natal care. Hugh MacPherson trained in acupuncture in London and China. He has worked at the York Clinic (formerly the Ch’ien Clinic) as an acupuncturist since its inception in 1982 and as Clinic Director since 1986.
