Qualifications and experience:

I undertook my undergraduate Psychology degree at the University of Hull and my post graduate Master of Science Forensic Psychology degree at the University of Leicester. I have also completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Child Forensic Studies; Psychology and Law at the University of Portsmouth.

I started my ‘on the job training’ in 2001 and became a Chartered Psychologist in 2005, later becoming an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. I am also a Registered Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. I have worked in a range of settings including, NHS, private hospitals, the prison service and in private practice.

Having worked in these various setting has given me a variety of skills to help individuals deal with a wide range of difficulties they may be experiencing in their life. My experience is specifically in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.

I have experience of working with adults with the following presenting concerns;
