Terri Willmott
Osteopathy
I graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001 and worked in three different clinics in the South of England.
From May 2002 to September 2005 I worked in an osteopathic practice in Nova Scotia, Canada. On returning to the UK I relocated to Yorkshire where I now work between two practices, the York Clinic for Integrated Healthcare and the West-Gate Clinic of Osteopathy in Driffield.
I have experience of and enjoy treating a very diverse range of musculoskeletal (physical) problems, with my personal interest being in the treatment of pregnant women and also sports injuries.
In addition to my osteopathic treatment are skills in strapping and Kinesio taping, which are of particular benefit to athletes, (sports injuries) and postural problems.
While in Canada I treated a team of amateur tri-athletes and during the year 2006-07 I was the physical therapist for the West Hull Ladies Road Running Club.
I am registered with the General Osteopathic Council, (www.osteopathy.org.uk), which regulates the profession in accorance with the Osteopaths Act of 1993.
